Squirrels

Squirrels is a rescue puzzle game in the spirit of the classic Lemmings.

A nest box opens high in the trees and squirrels pour out. They march straight ahead and don't stop for anything: cliff edges, deep water, solid walls. Your job is to hand out the right jobs to the right squirrels at the right moment, so enough of them make it home to the glowing burrow before time runs out.

Eight jobs

• Climb: scales any wall
• Glide: floats down safely from any height
• Pop: counts down, then blasts a hole in the ground
• Block: stands firm and turns the crowd around
• Build: lays a 12-brick staircase
• Bash: punches straight through a wall
• Mine: tunnels down at a slant
• Dig: digs straight down

Each level gives you only a few of each job, so every one counts.

30 levels across three worlds

Start with a gentle forest warm-up. Then move through autumn woods and mountain pines into real puzzles: hold the crowd back while a builder works, free your own blocker, thread a tunnel between stone walls you can't dig, manage two nest boxes at once, and turn up the release rate to beat the clock with eighty squirrels on the march.
